The variety of these incidents demonstrates the breadth of modern mountain rescue. Alongside assisting injured people in remote locations, our volunteers regularly support ambulance, fire and police colleagues with specialist search, rescue, casualty care, water rescue and drone capabilities.
Many incidents never make the headlines, and no two callouts are the same. Each requires different skills, equipment and close cooperation with our emergency service partners.
Further reports will be published as outstanding incident reports are completed and the necessary approvals have been received.
As always, thank you to our volunteers, partner agencies and supporters whose commitment enables Derby Mountain Rescue Team to remain ready to respond whenever and wherever we're needed.
