2026-45: Elton - Sidecar trials

The team was called to assist East Midlands Ambulance Service following a sidecar trials incident involving a motorcycle and sidecar.

During the incident, the motorcycle overturned, with both the machine and rider landing on the passenger. The casualty was assessed and treated on scene by ambulance crews, with support from Derby Mountain Rescue Team members.

Due to complaints of back and leg pain, the casualty was immobilised in a vacuum mattress before being loaded onto a team stretcher and transferred to a waiting ambulance for onward transport to hospital.
