By placing an order you offer to purchase a product subject to these Terms. All orders are subject to availability and confirmation of the order price. Dispatch times may vary according to availability and any delays resulting from postal delays or force majeure are not our responsibility.
When you place an order, you will receive an acknowledgement email confirming receipt of your order. This is not acceptance. A contract is formed only when we email you to confirm that the goods have been dispatched. Only goods listed in the dispatch confirmation email form part of the contract.
We try to ensure all details, descriptions and prices are accurate; errors may occur. If we discover a pricing error for goods you ordered, we will inform you and give you the option to reconfirm at the correct price or cancel. If we cannot contact you, we will treat the order as cancelled. If you cancel and have already paid, you will receive a full refund. Delivery costs are charged in addition and are shown where applicable and included in the Total Cost.
Upon receiving your order we carry out a standard authorisation check on your payment card. Your card will be debited upon authorisation. Monies received upon debiting are treated as a deposit against the value of the goods. Once goods have been despatched and we have sent a confirmation email, the deposit is applied as consideration for the value of the goods listed in the confirmation email. All payments are processed by our PCI-DSS compliant partner Stripe. www.derbymrt.org.uk does not capture, store or transmit payment card details.
All products are made to order. Orders made before midday on Tuesday are made and dispatched the same week on Friday.
All donation products are refundable within 14 days by emailing [email protected].
Physical products that arrive damaged or unsaleable can be replaced. Please email photographic evidence to [email protected].
Physical products can be returned for a full refund (if unused/undamaged etc.). Please email [email protected]. Delivery charges are non-refundable.
Some products and services offered by www.derbymrt.org.uk may be provided on a subscription basis. By subscribing, you agree to recurring payments as specified during checkout.
Gift Aid is a UK Government scheme that allows charities to claim back tax on donations from UK taxpayers. If you opt in to Gift Aid, we can claim an additional 25% of your donation from HM Government.
To say “yes” to Gift Aid you must be a UK taxpayer and understand that if you pay less Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax in the current tax year than the amount of Gift Aid claimed on all your donations, it is your responsibility to pay any difference. Gift Aid equals 25% of your donation. Example: donate £10 with Gift Aid → we can claim £2.50. You must pay more than £2.50 in Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax in that tax year. We also need your full name and home address to claim Gift Aid.
You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless DerbyMRT, its directors, officers, employees, consultants, agents and affiliates from any and all third-party claims, liability, damages and/or costs (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Website or your breach of these Terms.
DerbyMRT may, at its absolute discretion and without notice, amend, remove or vary the Services and/or any page of the Website at any time.
If any part of these Terms is unenforceable, the enforceability of the remaining parts is not affected. Where possible, a clause shall be interpreted to preserve its original meaning as permitted by law.
We operate a complaints handling procedure to try to resolve disputes when they first arise. Please email [email protected] with any complaints or comments.
If you breach these Terms and we take no action, we will still be entitled to use our rights and remedies in other situations where you breach these Terms.
By using Derby Mountain Rescue Team’s website, and by purchasing, subscribing, or donating, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
