Incident: Saturday 22nd August 2026 (Evening)

The team was called following reports of a young man who had become separated from a group of friends while visiting Black Rocks.

He had left the group on the High Peak Trail to make his way to the top of Black Rocks, with everyone agreeing to meet again at the main car park. When he failed to arrive, his friends searched the area before contacting Derbyshire Police.

Team members began searching paths around the main crag area as further resources arrived.

Shortly afterwards, one of the missing person's friends received a call from him confirming that he was safe, had left the area and was on a bus heading home.

With his welfare confirmed, the team was stood down.
