Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Websites also use similar browser storage ("local storage" and "session storage"). This page lists everything www.derbymrt.org.uk stores and why.
We use two kinds:
- Strictly necessary: the site can't work without them, so they don't need your consent.
- Analytics: these help us see how the site is used. We only set them if you accept them.
We don't use advertising or marketing cookies.
Your choices
A banner asks whether you accept analytics cookies. You can change your mind at any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of every page. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a no.
We keep an anonymous record of your choice for 400 days, and ask again if our cookies change. You can also block cookies in your browser, but the basket and sign-in need the strictly necessary ones.

None of them hold your name or email.
We also keep two small settings in your browser's storage, for smooth page transitions and to keep a checkout error on screen if the page reloads. These never leave your device.

Embedded videos
Some pages include YouTube videos. Nothing loads from YouTube until you press play: until then you see a picture with a play button. If you press play, the video plays from YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode, and YouTube (Google) may set cookies and use browser storage under Google's privacy policy.
