> Incident: Tuesday 4th August 2026 (Afternoon)
The team was called to assist with a 19-year-old male who had fallen a considerable distance near the Dovedale Stepping Stones, sustaining a possible head injury. On arrival this information was corrected to an 11-year-old boy.
An air ambulance was also sent to the incident, with early-arriving team members making their way to the casualty from the Lindale side of Thorpe Cloud.
The casualty was cared for before being carried by team stretcher to the waiting East Midlands Ambulance Service ambulance at the Stepping Stones for onward care.
