While the team was responding to a trauma incident at Dovedale, concerns were raised regarding a potential missing person.

A member of the public reported that her sister had not returned after being last seen earlier on Thorpe Cloud as part of a coach trip. Following completion of the initial incident, the team was retasked to make enquiries and check the surrounding area.

Contact was attempted by text message and voicemail, and team members checked likely locations. The missing person was later contacted and confirmed to be safe and with other members of the group in Ilam. Advice was given to allow the group to be reunited.

No further action was required.
