On Saturday 17th January, Derby Mountain Rescue Team held their third annual fundraising Ceilidh at The Edgefold Club, Matllock – and once again, it was a fantastic success.
The brilliant Schuggie had nearly 140 team members, supporters, and friends up on their feet, dancing and laughing together. The event raised an impressive £1,869 towards the £65,000 needed each year to keep the team operational.
The raffle proved particularly popular, thanks to a generous selection of high-quality prizes. The whisky tossing game also brought plenty of fun – and a healthy fundraising boost.
A provisional date of 16th January 2027 has already been set for next year’s Ceilidh – we hope to see you there!
