The team was called to assist East Midlands Ambulance Service (EMAS) following reports of a 29-year-old climber who had fallen whilst climbing in Shining Cliff Woods, sustaining a suspected fractured ankle.
The casualty was treated on scene by EMAS and Derby Mountain Rescue Team before being packaged for evacuation.
The casualty was carried by team stretcher to a waiting EMAS ambulance and transported to the Royal Derby Hospital for further assessment and treatment.
The team stood down once the casualty had been transferred into the care of EMAS.
