On Wednesday morning the team received a request from Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service to provide operational oversight with our thermal imaging Drone at a Moorland Fire. Unfortunately, the wind speeds in the area were above the operational ability of the drones and the request had to be declined, and the team stood down.
