The team was called yesterday to assist a female who had sustained a lower leg injury while descending Thorpe Cloud. Team members assessed and treated the casualty on scene before carrying her by stretcher down to a waiting West Midlands Ambulance Service road ambulance. The casualty was then handed over to ambulance crews for onward transport to hospital.
