On Sunday 11th May 2025 Derby Mountain Rescue Team were called to reports of a Thirty-year-old female with ankle injury at Thorpe Cloud. The casualty was located by the team, assessed and treated on scene before being lowered on the team's stretcher to Lin Dale where she was transported up to the Thorpe Pasture Car Park, she was taken to hospital in Coventry by her family.
