As the team were finishing up with Callout 43 we were alerted via a Wetton & Alstonefield First Responder to a possible second incident also at Dovedale, near Reynnard's caves, after confirming this was indeed a separate incident the team relocated to deal with a second female with a leg injury. The second injury was a bit more serious with a dislocated/fractured ankle. Due to the severity of the injury and time-critical care required an Air Ambulance was requested. The team relocated the casualty down the river path, through the ford by the stepping stones. We were met by the Midlands Air Ambulance crew and after a quick update it was decided the actions and efforts of the team had improved the stability of the casualty and she was transferred to hospital by road with East Midlands Ambulance Service.
