The team were called out just before 5pm on Monday 24th March 2025 to a fallen climber at Harborough Rocks.
A solo climber had called his wife as he felt dazed and confused, and although he couldn't remember it had assumed he must have fallen from the rock face. He was treated on scene by the team, other than not remembering a large part of the day, he was also complaining of arm and leg pain, with a suspected dislocated shoulder.
He was packed in our Vacuum Mattress and a large heavyweight casualty bag (for warmth) and evacuated to the road where he was handed over to the care of East Midlands Ambulance Service for further treatment at hospital.
Editorial Note: We've subsequently heard he is home safe and well, albeit having had a dislocated shoulder and being generally battered and bruised.
