The team was called out shortly after midday to assist a climber who had injured her ankle while bouldering on the lower boulders beneath Robin Hood’s Stride. Although it was a relatively low fall, she slid down the rock and landed awkwardly on her right ankle. Team members provided initial care and pain relief at the scene before carrying her to a waiting ambulance for further assessment and treatment.

Thanks to East Midlands Ambulance Service and a Community First Responder for their support on this incident. We wish the casualty a full and speedy recovery.
