The team were called out around 4pm on Friday 8th Aug 2025 to a Fifty-Five-year-old-male near Black Rocks. A male had fallen off his mountain bike and sustained a shoulder injury. The gentleman was treated on scene by the team and East Midlands Ambulance Service. He was given pain relief and, due to the mechanism of injury, treated for potential rib and spinal injuries and packaged in our Vacuum Mattress before being carried out to the road by the team. EMAS transported the casualty to hospital for further treatment.
