The team were called out at 6pm on Tuesday 27th August to assist Derbyshire Police with the search for a missing person. The team were deployed to Sutton-on-the-hill where the person had last been seen. A search plan was put in place, a number of areas were searched across farm and woodland by team members on foot, our drone section, Mountain Rescue Search Dogs England's Search Dog Griff and a Police (NPAS) Helicopter. The missing person was not located within the search area. The team were stood down in the early hours of Wednesday morning. Subsequently, the missing person has been seen safe and is no longer missing.
