The team were called out three times in three hours on Saturday afternoon.

Just before 2pm the team were called to a seventy-five-year-old male paraglider who had crashed shortly after taking off. He fell around 20ft. A helimed crew were also called and the man was flown to hospital for treatment. The team were stood down.

As the team were returning we were called out for the second time just after 3pm. A twenty-six-year-old male had fallen and injured his ankle near Lea. We were asked to assist East Midlands Ambulance Service evacuate the male approximately 500metres to the ambulance.

While the second callout was ongoing the team were called to Thor's Cave at around 4pm. A group of three sixteen-year-olds had been reported to be stuck in Thor's Cave with a further five sixteen-year-olds out of the cave - but their location was unknown. There was an unconfirmed report that at least one member of the party was injured. Mobile 2 was redirected from the Lea callout and Buxton Mountain Rescue Team were requested to assist us at Thor's Cave. Upon arrival nobody was stuck in the cave but a number of the party had left via the infamous 'West Window' and were located being assisted down the scree slope by a member of Upper Wharfedale Fell Rescue Association who happened to be in the area. They were all escorted off the hill and met by their parents and West Midlands Ambulance Service. They were given some TLC and warmed up as they had become quite cold and wet. Six of them were taken to Wetton Mill to await the arrival of their parents.

The team were stood down from the last two callouts just after 6pm.
