The team were called out just before 11pm last night (Friday 17th June) to an 18-year-old male who had fallen from Black Rocks, Cromford whilst out with a group of friends.
Derby Mountain Rescue Team, East Midlands Ambulance Service and Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance Critical Care Car team were called to the scene after the man fell an estimated 15m. He had sustained multiple injuries during his fall and was stabilised on scene by the teams before being placed in our Vacuum Mattress and evacuated through steep woodland to the high peak trail, and up to the main car park. He was taken to Queen's Medical Centre in Nottingham for further treatment.
The rest of his party were safe and well.
