TWO CALLOUTS to Dovedale at the same time: At 1pm On Sunday 15th May the team were called out to Lover's Leap to a collapsed female.
We were joined by a Community First Responder, and the crew of Helimed09 Midlands Air Ambulance Charity. The lady was carried, a short distance, to the helicopter and flown to the Royal Stoke University Hospital for further treatment.
At 1:50pm, whilst the first callout was ongoing, we were called out to Thorpe Cloud after a 34-year-old male had become cragfast (unable to move up or dow) on the steep scree slope. Realising his predicament he made he had called for help before having a serious fall. He was assisted to safety by a small section from the team. Having no injuries, he was able to make his own way home.
