The team were called out yesterday (Tuesday, 10 May) at 4pm to a fallen climber near Matlock. A 71-year-old male had fallen whilst lead climbing in a Quarry, injuring his leg.
He was treated on scene by East Midlands Ambulance Service and evacuated by the team on our rescue stretcher a short distance to the land ambulance. The man was taken to hospital for further treatment.
