The team were called out yesterday (Sunday 24th April) by East Midlands Ambulance Service to Pilsbury. A 73-year-old female was out walking with friends at Pilsbury Castle when she slipped sustaining a head injury and a dislocated shoulder. She was treated on scene by the team and a land ambulance crew, and subsequently joined by the crew of Helimed54 (Derbyshire, Leicestershire & Rutland Air Ambulance). The lady was carried to the air ambulance and flown to the Royal Stoke Hospital for further treatment.
