The team were called out yesterday afternoon (Sunday 3rd April) around midday to assist East Midlands Ambulance Service with a fallen Mountain Biker. A male had been riding in woodland near Brackley Gate when he fell suffering a severe lower leg injury. He was treated on scene by the team, East Midlands Ambulance Service Ambulance Crew, a Community First Responder and an EMAS Hazardous Area Response Team(HART). The male was carried out to the road head, and the waiting ambulance by the team. He was transported to hospital for further treatment.
