On Sunday 12th September the team were fundraising at the Church Wilne annual horse ride event. During the event we were alerted to a 71-year-old female who had fallen from a horse. She was treated on scene by the team for suspected Head and neck injuries. Due to the waiting time for an Ambulance she was transported in the team vehicle to the Royal Derby Hospital for further treatmet. We have subsequently heard from her family that she had broken a bone in her neck, but is expected to make a full recovery. This is our 69th callout (70 being our current record number of callouts in a year) and we're not at the end of the third quarter yet.
