The team were called out yesterday (Wed 11 Aug) at around 5pm to Thor's Cave. A man had been reported to have fallen at Thor's cave suffering facial injuries including obvious bleeding. On arrival there was no sign of the casualty, but several passers by confirmed there had been someone injured walking in the area. East Midlands Ambulance Service, a Helimed crew and the team searched the area, however the casualty was not in the area and it was deemed he had "self rescued". We were stood down just in time for sections 1&2 to attend the scheduled Navigation Training at Dovedale.
