Mountain Rescue Search for missing teenager

Posted by on

The team were called out just after 8pm last night (Sunday 4th July) to assist Derbyshire Constabulary who had concerns for the safety of a missing teenager. We requested the assistance of Mountain Rescue Search Dogs England (MRSDE) and started putting together a search plan. Fortunately, the missing person responded to attempts to contact them by phone and was located by Police and the team. The missing person was safe and well, albeit extremely wet and cold due to the torrential rain. After being checked over by team members and warmed up in a Police vehicle, they were handed over to the care of the Police. The rest of the team and MRSDE were stood down en route
