The team were called out at 2:30pm on Sunday 13th June to assist East Midlands Ambulance Service in Birchover. A 29-year-old female had fallen approximately 20ft at Rowtor Rocks behind the Druid's Inn in Birchover sustaining a fractured femur and suspected spinal injuries. She was treated on scene by EMAS and Your Local Air Ambulance WNDLR #Helimed54, and evacuated on the team stretcher from a ledge to the air ambulance. She was flown to Sheffield Northern General Hospital for further treatment.
