Derby Mountain Rescue Team were called to assist Derbyshire Police with the search for a Missing Person at around 7:30pm on Saturday 5th June.
Our control vehicle was deployed to start our planning process, we requested support from Mountain Rescue Search Dogs England and the wider team were placed on standby awaiting further information.
Shortly after the full team were deployed, the missing male was located by the Police at the beginning of the first search area.
He was given first aid by the team and evacuated by stretcher to an East Midlands Ambulance Service road ambulance crew who took him to hospital for further treatment.
