The team were called out just after 6pm yesterday (Sunday 30th May) to an injured climber at Intake Quarry. A 27-year-old female was hit by a falling rock whilst belaying, injuring her knee. She was treated on scene by East Midlands Ambulance Service (EMAS) and Matlock and district community first responders. The team carried out of the quarry by stretcher and allowed to continue for further treatment with her partner.
