The team were called out to Thorpe Cloud just before 3:30pm today. A 33-year-old female had been walking in the area when she was hit on the head by a falling rock. She was treated for her head injury on scene by the team and lowered off Thorpe Cloud on our mountain rescue stretcher. East Midlands Ambulance Service took over her care and transported her to hospital for observation and further treatment.
