Team called three times in three hours

A busy day for the team as we were called out three times in three hours.

The team were called just after 11am this morning to reports of a male being given CPR near Middleton Top, Wirksworth. East Midlands Ambulance Service (EMAS) and Derbyshire Leicestershire and Rutland Air Ambulance Helimed 54 were also on scene. Sadly despite the efforts of all involved, the male died on scene.
Our thoughts are with his family and friends.

During the first callout, we were called along with the Hazardous Area Response Team by EMAS to attend a male who had fallen at Rowtor Rocks behind the Druid's Inn, Birchover. Due to the severity of the first call out which was ongoing, Buxton Mountain Rescue Team were requested to attend but were stood down en route.

Around 2pm, as the team were returning from the first callout, we were again called by EMAS to reports of a fallen male - this time in Darley Bridge. The details of the incident were just being clarified, as we received a stand down. The male was able to make his own way from the scene.
