The team were called out along with East Midlands Ambulance Service to the #TissingtonTrail just after 3pm yesterday by Derbyshire Police. A five-year-old girl had been reported to have fallen from a horse sustaining a head injury, with the location being reported as a what3words location.
The team contacted the informant to confirm the location, and also found out the girl had fallen from a bicycle not a horse, but had indeed hit her head. She was treated on scene by East Midlands Ambulance Service, and transferred to hospital by road for further treatment.
Subsequently, her family have been in touch to say she is now back at home nursing some impressive bruises but otherwise all good.t
