The team were called out on Wednesday 22nd July at 8pm to a fallen climber at Intake Quarry, Matlock, along with a Hazardous Area Response Team and an Air Ambulance crew.

Having completed a route a climber was being lowered by his belay. Unfortunately, the pair were using a shorter rope than normal and the inevitable happened, the climber fell the final few metres.

He was treated by the team for suspected c-spine (Back and neck) injuries and evacuated to a Land Ambulance and taken to Hospital by Road.

This is a placeholder post for a recent callout. We're currently gathering all the details and will update this blog post soon. Check back later for the full story!
