In our 6th callout this week, the team were called to Birchover the morning of 30th May to assist East Midlands Ambulance Service, Derbyshire Fire & Rescue Service and Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance.
A 63-Year-Old male had fallen a long distance while walking at Rowtor Rocks, Birchover. The male was treated by the air ambulance crew and evacuated by the team and the fire crew. The male had sustained serious head and chest injuries and was taken by land to hospital for further treatment.
A good multi-agency response in difficult circumstances.
