The team were called to Dovedale for the second day running today. A 27-year-old female had fallen down the scree slope on the side of Thorpe Cloud, picking up several injuries to her neck, shoulder and legs on her way. She was treated by Midlands Air Ambulance Charity Helimed09 crew and West Midlands Ambulance Service HQ. She was able to walk, aided, to the land ambulance. The team followed at a short distance in case our stretcher was needed. Another great example of inter-agency cooperation.
