2019-2: Biggin Dale

A 32-year-old female slipped and fell injuring her right leg!

The team were called out at 1pm on the afternoon of 9th January 2019 to Biggin Dale. A 32-Year-old female had fallen whilst out walking in the area and suffered a broken leg. She was treated by the team, an East Midlands Ambulance Service crew and the crew of Helimed54 G-TAAS (Derbyshire Leicestershire and Rutland Air Ambulance Base). With her leg splinted, and pain relief administered she was carried by the team to the #AirAmbulance which flew her to the Royal Derby Hospital for further treatment.

Our vehicles and volunteers have returned home/back to base, ready for the next callout.
