The team were called out just before 7 pm on Sunday 28th April 2019 to assist Derbyshire Police with the search for a missing man in the Hartington area.
Derby Mountain Rescue Team, Derby Mountain Rescue Team's Drone section, Buxton Mountain Rescue Team, Mountain Rescue Search Dogs England and the National Police Air Service (NPAS) were all called to assist in the search.
Fortunately shortly after the team arrived in the area there was a reported sighting which was checked out and found to be the missing person.
The rest of the teams were stood down.
