The team were called out to Dovedale just before 2pm on Monday 22nd April to a casualty with a fractured ankle. Upon arrival, the team found a male who had fallen down the scree slope on the side of Thorpe Cloud, ending up on a small island in the River Dove. The man was treated by team members, a West Midlands Ambulance Service(WMAS) crew and the crew of Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Rutland Air Ambulance(DLRAA) Heli-Med 54.
The man was carried to the WMAS ambulance on a team stretcher and taken to hospital by road.
