2019-15-16-17: Easter

A busy weekend for the team

It's been a busy Easter Bank Holiday weekend for the team as we've attended three callouts so far.


2019-15: The team were called at 20:45 on Saturday 20th April to a 19-year-old female with breathing difficulties on Thorpe Cloud. The Team and two East Midlands Ambulance Service Paramedics attended the scene. The casualty was treated and stretchered across the river to the land ambulance which took her to Hospital for further treatment. Team members left the scene at around midnight.

2019-16: Just before 9 am on Easter Sunday morning the team were called to search for a missing 30-year-old male in the Somercotes area. Along with Derbyshire Police., two search dogs, the team also deployed search teams, the water section and the drone to cover the given search areas. The missing person was located walking along a road by a member of the team who was travelling between locations. The rest of the team were stood down just after 1pm.

2019-17: At 14:30 on Sunday afternoon the team were called to Thorpe Cloud to assist with a 15-year-old male who had fallen sustaining a head injury. We were stood down en route as East Midlands Ambulance service were on scene.
