  • Session 1 - Saturday June 24: 9am - 1pm. Not available online, walk ins welcome
  • Session 2 - Saturday June 24: 1pm - 5pm Not available online, walk ins welcome
  • Session 3 - Sunday June 25: 9am - 1pm
  • Session 4 - Sunday June 25 1pm - 5pm

Requirements

  • You* must be in good health and able to walk up the steps to the top of the crag.
  • You* must be 12 years of age or over on the 24th of June 2023.
  • Anyone under 18 on 24th of June 2023 must have a responsible adult at the venue for the duration of their session.
  • There is no upper age limit.
  • You* are expected to raise at least £100 in sponsorship and will be given a team fundraising page and link

The Team is raising funds to build our urgently needed new Base at Mackworth by running a sponsored abseil at the historic site of Cromford Mills. Join us on 24/25th June for this rare opportunity and experience and help us to continue to help you. Indemnity

If you are purchasing this product for yourself or if you are purchasing it as the “Responsible Adult” for someone under 18 years of age then you indemnify Derby Mountain Rescue Team, against any damage, costs, liability or claim arising from participation in the Event. You confirm that you are, if abseiling, or the person under 18 is, in good health, is aged 12 or over and sufficiently able bodied to undertake this Event. You accept that the Organisers have taken all reasonable precautions and agree to observe the directions of the officials on the day. You should observe all the safety rules.

Cancellation

The Team retains the right to cancel or postpone the event in the case of any unforeseen occurrence. In which case, every possible step will be taken to rearrange the event at the earliest possible opportunity. Should it be necessary to cancel the event then the registration fee and any sponsorship money will be refunded.
The Team also retains the right not to permit anyone abseiling for any reason.
