The challenge:
A beautiful 22 mile / 35km circular route, mainly off road with 3300 feet / 1000 metres of ascent, following the high ground around Matlock and Darley Dale. You can choose whether to walk or run it (or a mixture of both!), and you can do it solo, in a group, or make friends on the way round. The route has been planned specifically for this challenge, which is a fundraiser for Derby Mountain Rescue Team. In partnership with Ordnance Survey.
Reasons to accept the challenge:
- A fun day out, knowing that you are raising money for the Derby Mountain Rescue Team.
- Stunning route including pretty villages, stone walled meadows, moorland, woodland and even a castle!
