The team were called to Ashbourne Rugby Club after a Thirty-Five-year-old female who had sustained a lower leg fracture during a game. She was treated on scene by an East Midlands Rapid Response Paramedic, a Land Ambulance and a Community First Responder. She was carried out across a very wet and muddy field by the team to the main car park where she was handed over to the care of the EMAS Ambulance Crew under the cover of a round of applause from players and supporters.
