The team were called out at 10:30am today (Sunday 18th Feb, 2024) to assist East Midlands ambulance Service with a fallen male.
A 75-year-old-male was walking at High Tor when he fell injuring his leg. He was treated on scene by the team, an EMAS Paramedic and an EMAS Ambulance crew for a broken ankle. He was was given pain relief, his ankle was splinted and he was carried by stretcher to a Land Ambulance. He was taken to hospital by EMAS for further treatment.
