A 29 year old male was rescued at Thor's Cave today after falling down a steep slope injuring his shoulder.
The man had been visiting Thor's Cave, and had exited via the west "window", which leads to a very steep slope. Someway down the slope he had fallen sustaining a suspected fracture/dislocation to his shoulder.
He was placed on the team stretcher and lowered with a rope protection system, carried across the river and handed over to West Midlands Ambulance Service for further treatment.
