The team were called out just after 2pm on Saturday 4th September whilst we were out training at Biggin Dale.
The duty PDMRO controller contacted the team requesting us to attend a 66-year-old female who had fallen sustaining a head injury whilst out walking... in Biggin Dale!
At about the same time a search party on the hill was alerted to the same incident by the ladies friends. She was treated on scene by the team and carried by stretcher to Milldale where she was handed over to the care of East Midlands Ambulance Service.
This is a placeholder post for a recent callout. We're currently gathering all the details and will update this blog post soon. Check back later for the full story!
