Mountain Rescue team member out for a walk finds injured female fallen over a stile

Posted by on

Whilst out on a walk near #Hartington one of our team members happened upon a family who seemed to need a bit of help, a lady had fallen over a stile and broken her arm.

As the lady would need pain relief and her arm splinting the team member called out the team. With the team on site, the lady was still in a large amount of pain and with a bumpy carry off ahead, the team requested Your Local Air Ambulance WNDLR #helimed54 to assist.

The lady was then carried to a road ambulance who took her to hospital for further treatment. A special thank you to the farmer and their family for the help and understanding with all the commotion!
