The team managed to get through Christmas Day and Boxing Day with no callouts but were called just after noon today to assist East Midlands Ambulance Service.
A female in her early forties had slipped whilst out walking at Hallmoor Wood near Darley Dale. Community First Responders were first on the scene, followed by team members. She was treated for a suspected lower leg injury and given pain relief before being stretchered to the road head.
She was taken to Chesterfield Royal Hospital NHS FT & Royal Primary Care by a St John Ambulance crew, along with one of our team Paramedics.
