Our aims and objectives?

The principal objective of the team is to save life and alleviate distress, primarily in upland and mountainous areas by undertaking search and rescue when requested by the Police.

In addition, we aim to pass on the skills and knowledge to young people and other community groups and to provide training facilities in the skills of mountain and moorland rescue
