Be a part of something SPECIAL!

The Derby Mountain Rescue Team Supporters Group are people, such as yourself, who enjoy the countryside and value the work and service provided by the Rescue Team and are keen to support us.

As a member of the Supporters Group, you can be as involved as much or as little as you like. From just receiving the information sent to you about the team and maybe displaying a car sticker or possibly putting a poster about a fundraising event on a work notice board, to planning and running your own fundraising event for Derby Mountain Rescue Team or acting as a casualty in team exercises.

Members of the Supporters Group play a growing part behind the scenes in the life of the team, helping with the many tasks and jobs that need to be done to keep Derby Mountain Rescue Team on call every hour – every day – every year.

If you have time or a skill that you can offer to the team or would just like us to keep in touch with you, then please contact the Supporters Group Coordinator or join the group.

Members receive the following:

• A bi-annual newsletter reporting on the team's and the Group's news
• News of events
• You can see for yourself the work and dedication it takes to provide a rescue service
• Be involved in or attend our social and fund raising events
• The satisfaction of knowing you are helping to save lives

Joining the Derby Mountain Rescue Team Supporters Group is simple, just fill in the application form and email it to supporters@DerbyMRT.org.uk or post it to "Julian Walden, Supporters Group Coordinator, DMRT, PO Box 7409, Derby DE1 0HP".

Members of the Supporters Group do not actively take part in the search and rescue work of Derby Mountain Rescue Team. Such work is best left to the experts.
