      <title>Sun  7 Mar - Beresford Dale, Hartington</title>

      <description>The team were called to evacuate a 73 year old woman who had slipped on a footpath whilst out walking through farmland in the Hartington area, injuring her hip. A Midlands Air Ambulance managed to evacuate her just as the team arrived on scene.</description>

      <title>Fri  5 Mar - Thor's Cave, Manifold Valley</title>

      <description>The team were called to Thors Cave, in the Manifold valley, where a man had fallen 50ft down from the path, sustaining arm, face and head injuries. Fire and ambulance services were already on scene when the team arrived. The team placed the man on our stretcher and used a rope system to lower the stretcher, whilst it was carried by DMRT members, down the slope and across the river to a waiting air ambulance.</description>

      <title>Sun 21 Feb - The Manifold Valley</title>

      <description>The Team were called to search for missing male in the Manifold Valley area after he had contacted police after getting lost as darkness fell. The Team Leader was able to contact him by phone but also put the team drivers on standby for a possible full team callout. The Team Teader advised the missing man to go towards the building the man could see in the distance with lights on, which turned out to be a farm. The generous farmer then drove the man back to Waterhouses where he had left his car and the Team were stood down.</description>

      <title>Sat 20 Feb - Middleton, by Youlgreave</title>

      <description>The team were called to Middleton By Youlgreave, where a woman out walking with her partner had slipped, causing an ankle injury. As the first team members arrrived on site, the Fire and Rescue service had also arrived and were able to evacuate the casualty themselves. Those members of the team still en route were consequently stood down.</description>

      <description>&amp;lt;p&amp;gt;The Team were called on to assist an ambulance crew in evacuating a woman from her home after she had fallen down the stairs and sustained a spinal injury. The road ambulance was unable to reach her due to the snow, so the Team landrover and a crew of 6 reached the womans home and evacuated her to the waiting ambulance using the team stretcher.&amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;</description>

      <description>The team were called to evacuate a 45yo woman who had slipped and injured her ankle whilst out walking with a large group. An EMAS land ambulance were unable to reach her and the team and a WNAA air ambulance were called to assist. As the team arrived, the woman was reportedly successfully evacuated by an English Nature Land Rover. The team evacuated the rest of the party.</description>

      <title>Sat 19 Dec - Lea Bridge, nr Matlock</title>

      <description>The team were called last night to assist the ambulance service in taking an 82yo woman to hospital from Lea Bridge near Matlock. The ambulance crew were unable to get to the woman due to the road conditions in the vicinity and called on the team to for aid. Fourteen members of the team were able to make it through the snowy conditions to get to the cottage where the woman was stranded. They then used their stretcher to carry the woman from her bed to the team&amp;amp;#39;s Land Rover and she was then driven to Cromford station where she was handed over to the road ambulance for onward transport to hospital.</description>

      <description>The team were called to evacuate a casualty who had fallen around 20m and sustained a head injury. The casualty had manged to walk to a picnic area, believed to be Lovers Leap, before collapsing. The Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Rutland Air Ambulance arrived on scene as the team were en route and managed to evacuate the casualty themselves. The team were stood down.</description>

      <title>Thu  5 Nov - Reynard's Cave, Dovedale</title>

      <description>&amp;lt;p&amp;gt;A17yo woman had slipped and injured her back in the vicinity of Reynard&amp;amp;#39;s Cave in Dovedale. She was out on a group walk as part of an outdoor leisure management course. The air ambulance attended and called out the team to assist with the evacuation. The first team members to arrive on scene were able to assist whilst the rest of the team were stood down en route as the evacuation was completed and the casualty was transferred to hospital.&amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;</description>

      <description>The team were called to Thorpe to search for a missing vulnerable woman. The woman was quickly found on Hamston Hill, in the vicinity of an old quarry on Thorpe pasture when the light from a torch was seen in the distance as the search began. A team paramedic and doctor examined her on scene before she was evacuated by stretcher to the team Land Rover and then to the road-head where she was transferred to an EMAS road ambulance for onward transport to the Royal Derby Hospital.</description>

      <description>The team were called to search for a man who had last been seen at 1:30 am in a pub but had failed to make it home. The missing person was a type 1 diabetic who had taken insulin. The team leader and control staff/vehicles were en route when the man was located by police at around 15:30, close to the RV. The team were stood down but the team leader was near to the RV and so continued to assist with the recovery. The man was unhurt but was taken to hospital for a check up.</description>

      <title>Fri  2 Oct - Thorpe Cloud, Dovedale</title>

      <description>The team were called to assist a 74yo man who had got stuck near the top of Thorpe Cloud on a steep slope. His inappropriate footwear had insufficient grip for the terrain and he had resorted to removing his shoes in an attempt to get better grip. However, when he also attempted to remove his socks, he dropped his shoes which then rolled away down the hill leaving the man unable to continue. A walker on the opposite hill spotted the man and noticed he had not moved over a period of time and dialled 999.The DLRAA Air Ambulance and 13 team members attended the incident and were able to walk the man off the hill and take him back to his hotel. The man was uninjured.</description>

      <description>Whilst on a PR day in the area, the team were called to rescue a 44yo woman who had slipped on wet rocks whilst walking down Thorpe Cloud with her family, injuring her ankle. The woman&amp;amp;#39;s children had run back to where the team were stationed to raise the alert. Team members treated the woman and evacuated her across the river to a waiting EMAS ambulance.</description>

      <description>In almost the same location as the last incident, a 12yo girl slipped and sustained a lower leg injury whilst walking with her younger siblings and guardian. 19 members of the team and 2 WMAS First Responders attended the scene, splinting the leg and transporting her by stretcher across the ridge to a team Land Rover. She was then transferred to a WMAS road ambulance and taken to hospital.</description>

      <title>Tue 21 Jul - Bunster Hill, Dovedale</title>

      <description>A woman injured her ankle whilst descending from the top of Bunster Hill. Team members treated the casualty on scene whilst a Midlands Air Ambulance attempted to land. Deteriorating weather conditions caused the aircraft to have to land some distance further down the ridge.&amp;amp;nbsp; The casualty was carried to the helicopter by stretcher.&amp;amp;nbsp;As visibility worsened, the helicopter was unable to take off and she had to be carried to the team Land Rover, which had got as close as possible.&amp;amp;nbsp; She was then transferred to a road ambulance and taken to hospital.</description>

      <description>&amp;lt;p&amp;gt;The team were called to search for a missing person believed to be in the vicinity of an abandoned limestone quarry. Due to the extensive network of mines in the area, Derbyshire Cave Rescue Organisation were also called to the incident.&amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;&amp;lt;p&amp;gt;As the search was starting, the missing man&amp;amp;#39;s body was located within the quarry area. Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death.&amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;</description>

      <description>A parachutist from the Roayl Artillery&amp;amp;#39;s Black Nights Parachute Display Team was injured during a display at the Duffield Carnival when he landed very heavily. Team members had been attending the event with one of the team vehicles and treated the injured man, splinting a suspected lower leg and ankle fracture and encasing him in a vacuum mattress due to the possibility of a spinal injury.&amp;amp;nbsp; He was transported by EMAS ambulance to Derby City hospital where he was diagnossed as having a fractured fibula.</description>

Police are continuing their enquiries.</description>

      <title>Mon 16 Mar - Stepping Stones, Dovedale</title>

      <description>A 40 year old woman and her family were out near the stepping stones in Dovedale when they got caught out by the fading light. Deciding not to risk the stepping stones under the conditions, they followed the more difficult path back to the car park by the scree slopes of Thorpe Cloud. The woman then suffered a severe asthma attack and the team were called out. 17 members of the team responded and the woman was treated on scene by DMRT personnel before being evacuated across the river to a waiting ambulance using the team&amp;amp;#39;s Land Rover.</description>
